Volunteer Opportunities
Rape Crisis of the Southern Tier is now looking for reliable volunteers.
We have a 24-HOUR, TOLL-FREE CRISIS HOTLINE that is staffed
by volunteers who provide counseling to victims or rape and sexual assault. Our
volunteers also accompany rape victims to area hospitals and/or police stations.
RCST facilitates two 30-hour trainings per year which are mandatory in order to volunteer
for the program.
Other opportunities for volunteers
include community education projects, staffing health fair tables, and doing clerical work
and mailings. This is a great way to fulfill a community service or internship
requirement for college. If you are interested in volunteering for Rape Crisis of
