Rape Crisis of the Southern Tier serves a tri-county area including Chemung, Schuyler and Steuben counties.

Counseling is provided free and confidential.  These services are provided for victims of rape and sexual assault as well as their loved ones.  Trained RCST counselors provide assistance and advocacy within the legal system. Referrals are provided to other services, if needed, such as therapy and social service agencies.  Counselors also provide assistance in accessing reimbursement though the New York State Crime Victims Board. 

Hospital Accompaniments are provided 24 hours a day by RCST. Counselors are mandated to be at the hospital within one hour of receiving the call.

RCST Support Groups can be provided for victims of sexual assault/abuse. These groups are provided year-round and are facilitated by a trained therapist.

Criminal Justice Accompaniments
RCST provides accompaniments to police stations, court proceedings, and DA's offices. It is your right to have an advocate present as these meetings.
