Rape Crisis of the Southern Tier (RCST) is the only rape crisis organization serving Chemung, Schuyler and Steuben counties. We are regional leaders in providing comprehensive, free services that include a 24-hour hotline, 24-hour medical advocacy, legal advocacy, and counseling.
A program of Planned Parenthood of the Southern Finger Lakes, RCST assists sexual violence survivors, regardless of age, gender, marital status, religion, race, or sexual orientation. With the help of our professional staff and trained volunteers, RCST accompanies victims to the hospital, provides counseling, and offers assistance through confusing legal proceedings.
Education is the first step in creating a healthy society free of sexual violence. RCST provides prevention services and training for all age ranges. From preschool age to senior adults, our interactive educational programs are aimed at improving community awareness and opposition to sexual crimes.
