| MEN Rape Crisis of the Southern Tier is proud to launch a new awareness
campaign aimed at men's role in preventing sexual abuse.
Strength. Without Violence.
To be a man, means understanding that strength can
come without violence. Men can STOP rape and sexual abuse by becoming aware of their
formative role in shaping attitudes and societal values regarding women and sexual abuse.
Rape Crisis of the Southern Tier has created an
awareness campaign with funds from a court approved distribution plan settling antitrust
claims brought by the Office of the New York State Attorney General.
This campaign combines various media to help bring
about an increase in public awareness and attention to an important message . . . men CAN
stop rape, through a change in ideals, through a change in viewpoints and through a change
in attitude regarding thier own role in society. Each and every one of us can make a
difference. Learn how YOU can help by calling 1 888-810-0093.
